Symptoms of valvular heart diseases
The heart has four types of valves: mitral, tricuspid, aortic, and pulmonary, whose tasks are to direct blood. If any of these valves suffer from insufficiency or obstruction, the conduction of blood in the heart is disturbed. This causes heart failure, reduced oxygen levels, and weakness of heart muscles.
Symptoms of valvular diseases:
- Heart palpitations
- Arrhythmia
- Bluish color of the skin (cyanosis or reduced blood oxygen)
- Shortness of breath
- Quick Fatigue due to activity
- Dizziness or fainting
- Swelling of body tissue or organs
